How to Register
Attendance for our full-day seminars is strictly limited and
pre-registration and payment is required to guarantee your enrollment,
unless otherwise authorized by Miraflor & Associates. To
register, simply choose whichever method is most convenient to you. A
confirmation notice will be mailed to you at least 7 days prior to the
seminar date. If you do not receive your notice, please call us to
confirm your registration.

Our business hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday
through Friday (major U.S. holidays excluded). Please have all
information that is requested on the registration form available at
the time you call. |
Seminar Fees
The seminar fee includes continental breakfast, all course materials,
and seminar instruction. You may enjoy lunch on your own. Actual fees
are listed with each seminar description. All fees must be paid and
received by Miraflor and Associates in advance of the seminar.
Company and personal checks are accepted and must be received
no later than 10 business days prior to the seminar date. Thereafter,
fees must be paid by money order or cashier's check. Miraflor &
Associates presently cannot accept credit cards or purchase orders for
payment. Checks returned for Non Sufficient Funds will be subject to a
$20.00 fee. The California and Nevada BRNs will not honor Continuing
Education Hours that have not been fully paid to the satisfaction of
the Provider. For the Understanding Managed Care training program, additional payment
rules apply (click here).
Special Discounts
Special group rates are available if 3 or more individuals from your
organization attend the same seminar. Take 10% off for 3-5
people, and 15% off for 6 or more. You must call our office at
least 10 business days in advance of the desired seminar to schedule
your group and to receive your special rate.
CEH Credit
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing,
Provider #06260, and the Nevada Board of Registered Nursing, Provider
#NV090597-1, for the Contact Hours as indicated in each seminar and
workshop description. No partial CEH credit will be given.
Miraflor & Associates will provide you with a Certificate of
Completion that serves as your permanent record of attendance. This
document will indicate the number of approved Contact Hours earned.
Participants must attend and participate for the full seminar period
and for all days of a multi-day seminar in order to receive CEH credit.
Partial CEH credit will not be given.
Please be aware that the seminars offered by Miraflor & Associates
are not Certification courses, and that no claim is made
of being Certified once a seminar is completed.
Seminar Locations, Dates and Times
The cities, dates and times for each seminar are listed with each
seminar description. You will be notified of the exact venue location
with your confirmation notice. Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to the
scheduled seminar start time. All sessions will begin promptly
at the indicated time.
Miraflor & Associates reserves the right to change venue locations
(within the designated city), seminar dates and/or times, in which case
you will be notified as soon as possible after the change. If you are
unable to attend as a result of a date or time change, you must notify
Miraflor & Associates at the time of the change notification to be
entitled to a full refund of all fees paid.
Substitutions and Cancellations
You may have someone substitute for you at any time -- just submit
your request in writing by either mail or fax. If you must cancel, all
fees will be refunded except for a $25.00 administrative charge. Please note that if you fail to
cancel and don't attend, you are responsible for full payment.
If you are registered for a seminar and we do not receive payment or
confirmation that you plan on attending at least 3 business days prior
to the seminar meeting, you will be deleted from the attendee list and
your space will be given up to an individual on the waiting list.
Miraflor & Associates reserves the right to make program changes or
to cancel any seminar based on enrollment. Should any seminar be
canceled or postponed, you will be entitled to a full refund of all
fees paid, or you may apply your payment to another seminar of your
choice.
Tax Deductibility
The expense of continuing education, when taken to maintain and
improve professional skills, may be tax deductible. Please contact your
accountant or tax planner for complete information.
Overnight Accommodations
Miraflor & Associates has arranged for special group rate
accommodations at selected seminar venues. These reduced rate rooms are
generally limited and are offered only in conjunction with M&A
continuing education seminars. Please call Miraflor & Associates for
information regarding special room rates available for your selected
seminar. If group discount rates are not available, we will be happy to
refer you to quality hotels and inns in the vicinity of the seminar
venue.
